BON IVER PLAYS WELL WITH JUST ABOUT EVERYONE

14903

Brilliant musician who loves helping others? YES PLEASE!

Bon Iver is lending their hands to charities all over the place. Swoon. Makes me love them even more.

From contributing a track to the Dark Was The Night compilation benefitting the Red Hot Organization, to lending a t-shirt design to Yellow Bird Project benefitting the Interval House in Toronto, and now participating in the 2009 AIDS Walk Wisconsin. Something tells me this won’t be the end of it either.

Justin Vernon, frontman for Bon Iver, will serve as an honorary chairman for the AIDS walk and will be speaking and performing on October 11, 2009.

Never ever did I think I’d find myself wishing that I lived in Wisconsin.

ARCADE FIRE PLAYS WELL WITH PARTNERS IN HEALTH

Arcade Fire just doesn’t stop being amazing! Back in 2007, proceeds from their Neon Bible tour helped Partners In Heath provide high quality healthcare to the poor in Haiti. Now, in 2009, they are lending a helping hand once again. Not only did they already contribute to the Dark Was The Night compilation to help raise money for AIDS research, they are selling limited edition Miroir Noir DVDs to support Partners In Health again. DVDs are strictly limited to 250 copies and all proceeds go to Partners In Health.
