Yesterday a group of us from the Plays Well team headed out to Santa Monica to join the Invisible Children Rescue. It was an incredible experience joining in with over 4,000 other Californians march from the beach to Santa Monica City Hall. Once we arrived we set up camp, wrote letters to our senators and government officials and got the chance to hear some incredible speakers talk about the war in Uganda and what else we can do to help fight. Please visit www.invisiblechildren.com to find out more info on what has been going on with the Rescue. It began in 100 cities nationwide and so far there are only 17 cities left that need to be rescued. A few of us from the Plays Well crew spontaneously decided to caravan behind the Invisible Children Rescue Riders bus and head to San Francisco to help support over 1,000 people who showed up for the event there and who are still currently waiting to be rescued. We hopped in a car with 3 strangers at midnight and made the trek. We are reporting live now from a Starbucks in San Fran hoping to help spread the word that this city still needs to be rescued. Please head to the Invisible Children site to see what else you can do to help!
